Cooler by 9.6°C#
In an independent test, V-KOOL was shown to help keep a car interior surface cooler.

V-KOOL Singapore
V-KOOL Solitaire Series incorporates proprietary V-KOOL XIR® technology that reflects selected infra-red heat whereas dyed and ceramic window films absorb infra-red heat.
Unique
Dyed and ceramic films absorb infra-red heat and make the glass hot. V-KOOL’s XIR® sputtered layers reflect selected infra-red heat instead — keeping both the glass and the interior of your car at a more comfortable temperature.

V-KOOL has been awarded the Skin Cancer Foundation’s Seal of Recommendation for its UV protection performance.
# Results obtained from in-car temperature tests conducted by Advanced Materials Technology Centre, Singapore Polytechnic, between 05 to 23 March 2018 (Report No: PC 20180404-01R dated 4 April 2018). Thermistor probe sensors measured the difference in the dashboard surface temperature of a car with V-KOOL VK70 & V30 films versus a similar car without any window film. The results showed between 5.3°C to 9.6°C difference.

Singapore allows heat-rejection window film as long as enough light still passes through the glass. Here is what the rules require, and which V-KOOL films fit.
At least 70% of visible light must pass through the front windscreen and the driver and front passenger windows.
At least 25% of visible light must pass through the rear windscreen and rear side windows.
Films must be non-reflective and must not block the signal between ERP gantries and your in-vehicle / on-board unit.
Used in our Singapore packages and marked LTA compliant
Visible light transmission of 25% or more
Film values are measured on 3mm clear glass. Your car’s own glass is usually slightly tinted, so the final reading on the car is lower than the film value — our installers check the result with a light meter before you drive off.
